HCA - Technology Ecosystem Connecting Local Communities
Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), established in 1988, stands as Vietnam’s leading professional organization in information technology. Recently, HCA successfully collaborated with An Giang provincial authorities to deliver the program “Digital Solutions Driving Smart Cities and Digital Transformation in An Giang Province”, bringing together the technology business community, industry experts, and representatives from local departments and agencies.
Serving as a bridge between the technology ecosystem and practical implementation needs, HCA continues to create spaces where stakeholders can meet, exchange insights, and identify appropriate solutions for local digital transformation challenges, spanning infrastructure, data management, and urban operations.
Partnership at the An Giang & Can Tho Digital Transformation Program (May 14-15, 2026)
On May 14-15, 2026, the digital transformation series co-organized by HCA and the An Giang Department of Science and Technology took place successfully at the An Giang Provincial Police Conference Hall. HVACR Vietnam – Vietnam Energy Week – Vietwater – Vietnam Data Center & Cloud Confex participated as Co-Sponsors, accompanying the delegation throughout both days of professional activities.
On the afternoon of May 14, over 300 leaders and officials from 102 communes, wards, and special zones across An Giang Province joined a direct digital transformation consultation session using a roundtable format, where real-world challenges were addressed on-site. On the morning of May 15, the seminar “Digital Solutions Driving Smart Cities and Digital Transformation in An Giang Province” brought together nearly 400 delegates, covering strategic topics ranging from multi-layered smart city models and Living Lab concepts to data security solutions and digital infrastructure. The delegation also conducted a working visit to ISC Hau Giang (Can Tho City) that same afternoon.

Parallel to the morning seminar on May 15, the exhibition area hosted by HVACR Vietnam – Vietnam Energy Week – Vietwater – Vietnam Data Center & Cloud Confex became a vibrant meeting point for delegates, experts, and the business community.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the international exhibition series scheduled for November at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC, Ho Chi Minh City), while engaging in direct discussions about trends, solutions, and networking opportunities across energy, water – environment, HVACR and data centers.
This presence in An Giang not only brought exhibition information closer to the local community but also opened new connections, linking local practical needs with broader collaboration opportunities within the industry ecosystem.
